In nearly Forty Years of dealing with these types of instruments we have not come across a gimballed version and cannot find any examples in reference books or online. There are of course gimballed barometers for ships but not barographs. It is slightly smaller than usual which all ties in with or suspicion of being an expedition ships piece.
