“This fragment of hull from the RMS Titanic was part of the personal collection of Dik Barton (former Vice President of RMS Titanic inc.) who dived the wreck a total of 22 times.
In 1998 a piece of hull was recovered using 5″ nylon ropes. This is the largest piece of Titanic ever raised and the smaller fragments came off during its extensive renovation before being put on permanent display at the Luxor hotel Exhibition in Las Vegas.”
